Busy Week!

Wow, what a busy week we had! Education week was full of some great activities! Here are some of the things that we did at the end of this week :)

Wednesday: On Wednesday we had a special presentation by Louis Mercier that included many french songs and stories. Students had lots of fun joining in!

Thursday: In science we have been talking and learning about the water cycle. We made a "Water Cycle in a bag" and put it up on the window of our classroom. Today we checked the bag, and even though there was not much sun, the bag still completed a full cycle!

Here is some evidence of condensation forming, and the beginning of precipitation (falling down the sides of the bag)

Friday: Today we learned about "Tableau" style drama. We practiced performing three different scenarios. Can you tell what the students are showing??

Today we also had a special treat! Some grade 5 students from across the hall came in and performed their puppet shows that they have been working hard on. They did a great job!

And finally, today we had our Education Week liturgy followed by our "Caught you Caring" assembly. Congratulations to Kiera, who had her name drawn from the bucket as one of this months winners!

Have a fantastic weekend! Stay safe and dry.
