What a fantastic first week back to school following the Christmas break! Don't forget to check your child's mailbag this weekend as there are a few important notes to look at :)

  We spent much of this week talking about "time" and completed many different activities to reinforce telling time concepts in fun ways:
          -  Students constructed their own personal clocks to use a reference for completing tasks.
          - We discussed what time we consistently do things at school every day (i.e. School starts at       9:15am, we eat lunch at 12:00pm). Each student was then assigned a specific daily activity and they drew a picture of that activity along with drawing the time on a clock to match when that activity takes place. Once all are completed we will arrange them in Chronological order and post them up on our classroom wall (pictures to come!).
          - We practiced our skills during our weekly Math centers on Friday!
